报告简介

Under holography, various properties of a black hole geometry are believed to correspond to the properties of a quantum many-body system which is strongly chaotic. An interesting example is a phenomena that two causally disconnected regimes in the spacetime become connected after a certain deformation (traversable wormhole), which corresponds to the phenomenon in a quantum system consisting of two weakly coupled chaotic systems called regenesis, where a signal injected in one side reformulate on the other side after it get scrambled. Corresponding to this phenomena, at finite temperature the quantum system exhibits a phase transition which is dual to the Hawking-Page transition between the black hole geometry and the wormhole geometry. We studied this phase transition by choosing a disordered Fermionic system called Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model as the two chaotic systems, and confirmed that the phase transition can also be interpreted as a chaotic/integrable transition. We also found that various properties of the low-temperature phase can be understood in a simple way by the quasi-particle approximation. Furthermore, by tuning the disorders on the two SYK systems we found that the phase transition happens only when the correlation between the two disorders is larger than some finite critical value.
